November 2017 saw 15,000 scientists, for the second time in history, issue a call to action in the face of the catastrophic destruction of our environment. The strong signals and commitments made as part of the transition to a low-carbon economy, the acceleration of digital transformations, the challenge posed by migration, and the rise in social inequality tell us that we must choose our path wisely.
