Según analistas de USB Group AG, el huracán Dorian podría causar pérdidas de al menos US$25.000 millones en las Bahamas para las aseguradoras, una cifra que lo convierte en el desastre natural más caro para la industria desde 2017.
Asimismo, revelaron que en caso de que Dorian afecte otro estado de la Florida podría ocasionar pérdidas de hasta 40.000 millones en los próximos días. El huracán se ha convertido en el más poderoso que ha recalado en el Atlántico, desde 1935, según el Servicio Meteorológico Nacional de Estados Unidos.
