Sant Laurent sella el acuerdo para construir un complejo industrial en la Toscana
Yves Saint Laurent apuntala su músculo productivo. La compañía, propiedad del conglomerado de lujo Kering, invertirá 28,5 millones de euros en la construcción de un nuevo complejo industrial en la Toscana, que está previsto entre en funcionamiento en septiembre de 2022. El nuevo complejo tendrá una superficie de 28.796 metros cuadrados y funcionará como un centro para el desarrollo de accesorios de la empresa.
El nuevo centro, que se llamará Palazzo delle Finanze, se construirá a las afueras de la Toscana después que la compañía haya alcanzado un acuerdo arrendatario con el ayuntamiento de la región italiana, Scandicci. Se trata de una edificación de nueva construcción que reemplazará el actual edificio, que se empezó a construir en 1991 para albergar el Ministerio de Finanzas y cuya obras nunca llegaron a concluir.
Los últimos datos económicos de Kering corresponden al cierre de los nueve primeros meses de 2019, donde disparó sus ventas un 17%. El conglomerado francés facturó entre enero y septiembre hasta 6.991,8 millones de euros. Yves Saint Laurent, por su parte, aumentó su cifra de negocio un 17,9%.
