En su lugar, la empresa de lujo ha designado a Alessandro Corsi, que se incorporará al puesto el próximo 11 de diciembre y también pilotará la estrategia del grupo.
Corsi cuenta con una larga trayectoria dentro de la empresa, donde se unió en 2003 al departamento de planificación y control. Previamente había trabajado en el área financiera de General Electric. En Salvatore Ferragamo el directivo fue nombrado en 2006 director de desarrollo de negocio y ecommerce.
Además, Corsi también fue responsable de la relación del grupo con inversores tras el salto de la compañía a la bolsa de Milán en 2011. Dos años más tarde el directivo fue nombrado director de la región de Europa, Oriente Medio y África, cargo que ha ocupado hasta ahora.
El grupo italiano de lujo cerró los nueve primeros meses del ejercicio con una facturación de 972 millones de euros, un 3,3% menos que el año anterior. El beneficio neto de la empresa se desplomó un 17,5%, hasta 64 millones de euros.
