Reyes Maroto: “Es necesario un diálogo entre administraciones para armonizar la normativa de centros comerciales”
Las administraciones deben facilitar el trabajo a los centros comerciales. La ministra en funciones de Industria, Comercio y Turismo, Reyes Maroto, ha reclamado “unidad de acción entre las distintas administraciones para harmonizar la normativa que afecta a los centros comerciales” y que, al haber cedido las competencias a las autonomías, es distinta en cada comunidad.
Maroto ha sido la encargada de inaugurar la 17º edición del Congreso Español de Centros y Parques Comerciales que se celebra este miércoles y jueves en el Teatro Goya de Madrid. organizado por la Asociación Española de Centros y Parques Comerciales (AECC).
La ministra también ha aprovechado para recordar a los actores del sector que deben buscar nuevas fórmulas para captar a los clientes “que cada vez son más omnicanal, más exigentes y tienen más poder”, ha subrayado.
Reyes Maroto ha puesto en valor “el esfuerzo” del sector para adaptarse “a la transición energética y digital”
Por otro lado, Maroto también ha querido poner en valor “el esfuerzo” que está realizando el sector para adaptarse a “la transición energética y a la transición digital”. En este sentido, sostenibilidad y digitalización son los dos frentes más importantes que deberá afrontar el sector de los centros y parques comerciales en los próximos años.
Por su parte, el presidente de la AECC y máximo responsable en España de Neinver, Eduardo Ceballos, ha explicado que durante el primer semestre han aumentado un 1,8% interanual las ventas, un 1,5% la afluencia y un 2,1% los ingresos en restauración agregados de los 564 centros comerciales que hay en España.
En este sentido, Ceballos ha destacado el crecimiento del peso del ocio y la restauración en el mix comercial, una de las soluciones que está encontrando el sector ante el auge del comercio electrónico.
De todos modos, el responsable de la AECC ha dejado muy claro que el Apocalipsis del retail no afectará al mercado español ya que, entre otras cosas, “la densidad de centros comerciales es muy sana, al mismo nivel que la de otros países de la Unión Europea”.
