Ralph Lauren crece un 1,7% en el primer semestre pero gana un 7% más
Ralph Lauren mantiene al alza sus ventas. En el primer semestre del ejercicio (periodo finalizado en septiembre) la empresa ha registrado un aumento del 7%, con unas ventas acumuladas que alcanzaron hasta 3.135 millones de dólares (2.830 millones de euros). El beneficio neto ascendió un 7,1% hasta 299 millones de dólares, (270 millones de euros).
Por mercados, Asia es el continente que más creció en ventas entre marzo y septiembre de 2019: un 4%, hasta 255 millones de dólares (230 millones de euros). En Europa el grupo aumentó sus ventas un 3%, hasta 480 millones de dólares (433 millones de euros). En el continente americano, las ventas de Ralph Lauren tuvieron un retroceso del 1%, con 881 millones de dólares (795.331 millones de euros).
En el segundo semestre, la empresa también aumentó su beneficio neto un 6,9 %, hasta 182 millones de dólares (164 millones de euros). Las ventas se estancaron y anotaron un aumento del 0,9% hasta situarse en 1.706 millones de dólares (1.540 millones de euros).
