El brazo de investigación experimental de Samsung Electronics Co. ha llevado al CES 2020 una demostración de lo que llama el primer ser humano artificial del mundo, una simulación virtual de una inteligencia humana que aprende, conversa y simpatiza como una persona normal.
Cada simulación de humano, que existiría solo en pantallas, no en el mundo real, se llamaría NEON, y el concepto de Samsung es que crecerían para desarrollar personalidades creíbles que en última instancia los convertirían en compañeros amigables, instructores de yoga, presentadores de TV y portavoces.
“NEON es como un tipo de vida nuevo”, dijo Pranav Mistry, director ejecutivo de STAR Labs, de Samsung Technology & Advanced Research. “Hay millones de especies en nuestro planeta y nosotros esperamos agregar uno más.
