El Gobierno italiano invierte ocho millones para impulsar sus exportaciones a Estados Unidos
Italia estrecha su alianza con Estados Unidos. Poco después de que el presidente de Estados Unidos, Donald Trump, anunciara su intención de poner aranceles a Francia, Italia ha estrechado lazos con el país para potenciar sus exportaciones.
La Agencia de Comercio de Italia destinará casi veintiocho millones de euros para fortalecer las exportaciones de productos italianos a Estados Unidos. En concreto, el organismo ha destinado ocho millones de euros a bienes de consumo, donde se incluye el textil.
La inversión es un 45% mayor que la del año pasado. “Esperamos involucrar al menos a 300 empresas de moda ofreciéndoles capacitación educativa, visibilidad y ventas en todo el país, mientras se enfoca en estados y demografías específicas que muestran una fuerte inclinación a recibir nuestra autenticidad cultural”, ha señalado Antonino Laspina, comisionado de comercio y director ejecutivo de la Agencia de Comercio de Italia.
El directivo señaló que el objetivo de la inversión es transmitir la calidad y la experiencia de los productos italianos. “Hay una percepción desactualizada de lo que es italiano”, explicó Laspina. Además, la Agencia de Comercio de Italia tiene previsto organizar una misión comercial de empresas del país a Estados Unidos.
En 2018, las exportaciones italianas de moda a Estados Unidos alcanzaron los 6.000 millones de euros, un crecimiento del 10%. La moda masculina fue el sector que más incrementó sus ventas al país estadounidense, un 11,8%, hasta 548 millones de euros.
