Colombia: Bancolombia estrena pasarela de pagos para vender en redes
Personas y pequeños comercios podrán vender con solo enviar un link a sus compradores a través de Whatsapp, Instagram o Facebook, gracias al acuerdo comercial entre el Grupo Bancolombia y la fintech Vlipco para poner en marcha una pasarela de pagos con el fin de impulsar el comercio electrónico en el país.
Vlipco, empresa colombiana, desarrolló la tecnología para el negocio de pagos y actuará como proveedor de servicios de tecnología y soporte. “Esta pasarela estará habilitada en los próximos meses tanto para redes sociales como para el modelo tradicional de comercio electrónico y busca que los pagos se realicen de manera fácil, rápida y segura”, explicó Bancolombia durante el lanzamiento de la plataforma.
Quienes deseen aprovechar el servicio solo necesitan tener una cuenta Bancolombia de ahorros, corriente o Nequi para tener esta solución disponible en tan solo 10 minutos, sin necesidad de integraciones tecnológicas ni documentos físicos.
Luego de este proceso el comercio estará habilitado para vender por redes sociales e Internet, y elegir si desea recibir los pagos diarios, semanales o mensuales. Por su parte, el consumidor podrá escoger la opción de pago que se adapte a sus necesidades, esto incluye un datáfono virtual.
Con esta pasarela, la organización busca evolucionar la forma de hacer y gestionar los pagos, mejorando la experiencia de los usuarios e incrementando las ventas de los comercios.
Para Juan Carlos Mora, presidente del Grupo Bancolombia, “se trata de una iniciativa que revoluciona la relación entre los bancos y las fintechs, y que aporta de manera significativa al desarrollo del país, ya que responde no solo a las necesidades de los nuevos comercios y usuarios, sino a los retos de estas compañías que necesitan que entidades como Bancolombia crean en su potencial de crecimiento”.
Mora añade que “el desarrollo del país será posible en la medida en que trabajemos sinergias para responder a los nuevos desafíos que exige la transformación digital, que viven también los emprendedores y los comercios, grandes y pequeños, y los usuarios que quieren comprar productos y servicios de manera ágil y rápida”.
