Alejandro Laquidain, nuevo vicepresidente de la asociación de etiquetado Ginetex
El textil español gana presencia en el tejido organizativo internacional. Alejandro Laquidain, representante del Consejo Intertextil Español (CIE), ha sido elegido nuevo vicepresidente de la Asociación Internacional para el Etiquetado de Conservación Textil (Ginetex, en sus siglas en inglés).
Laquidain relevará en el cargo al británico Adam Mansell, consejero delegado de la UK Fashion&Textil Association, que asumirá la presidencia de la organización internacional. El cambio se hará efectivo el próximo enero.
Laquidain es administrador de Lakidain Group y ha sido presidente de Texfor y del CIE, además de miembro del consejo de administración de Euratex. Ginetex fue fundada en París en 1963 y el CIE, que se incorporó en 2016, es el único representante de España.
La asociación define y promueve el sistema de símbolos de etiquetado de conservación y coordina su conocimiento técnico a escala internacional. Los pictogramas utilizados son marcas registradas en la mayoría de países y son propiedad de Ginetex.
